Sorry for the lack of updates peeps, things have been crazy busy around here lately, what with me trying to work at my (full-time) job while still doing the odd bit of transcription work on the side, getting used to waking up an hour earlier to take Sarah (and, in a few weeks, Hunter) to preschool, and staying up half the night to transcribe these

Yeah, we watched it live on ESPN. Kinda nice to see an underdog win, though; I didn't know anything about Chestnut, going in. *g*

We've been watching it for years, and we knew Chestnut really wanted it, so it wasn't too much of a surprise, but damn. It was kind of sad to see a true gastronomic warrior like Kobayashi go down.

(And hey! How about that hellacious HP spoiler Eater X was waving around as he walked in? I've never read an HP book in my life and even I was like, dude! WTF?)
