Aw, thanks! :D Truth to tell, I was beginning to wonder a bit myself.

And yes, I think you would really have enjoyed seeing Sarah's seder performance. ^_^

*hugs*

Yay! Mazal tov! I am so happy for you! What wonderful passover news.

And I love the image of Sarah singing the 4 questions into the microphone like a little diva. That is adorable.

Thank you! :) This really is a wonderful time to hear that kind of news.

...Yeah, Sarah really got into it. Several people came by our table after the service to pay their respects, including the couple who sat with us at Sarah's first seder when she was 3. Sadly, I had long since forgotten them, but they sure remembered her!

Sometimes she's like a force of nature and it's the best I can do to hang on. *laugh*

Oh, hurrah, that is WONDERFUL news! And perfect for Passover, too; you are released from a certain kind of slavery, aren't you? Congratulations!

Re: Sarah, yeah, I think that's what self-esteem looks like. If you want a way to check and assess, ask yourself whether she also pays attention to and sympathizes with other people, and help her to do so; if she's trampling other kids in her rush to grab the mike, yeah, problem, but if she's empathetic and helpful (and everything you've ever said about her suggests she is) then she's just enjoying herself a lot, which is great!

Yay! I know I can always count on you for solid parenting advice! :) I am very thankful that both my children do display remarkable empathy (Hunter almost to a fault; he simply can't go on if he hears some other child crying in a store without repeated reassurances that the other child's parents are on top of the situation, and prefers to see the child himself to assess the matter.) So I guess I'll just ride this out. Heh.

It *is* especially meaningful for me to finally get the word on the job at this point of the year. The phrase "next year in Jerusalem" has a whole new meaning for me now.

In short: Thanks. *hugs*

Oh, congratulations! I'm sorry the pay isn't as good as it could be, but YAY for independence! :)
