Hunter's birthday party is due to start in a couple of hours. I'm hoping I'll be able to face my in-laws with grace.

Incidentally, Eric's stepmother seems to have stopped signing her e-mails to me "Mom."

Be gracious on the outside; you will never regret having taken the moral high ground, and it's better for your children, and it also allows you the satisfaction of being the person in this situation with the bigger heart.

(That said, also come vent here on lj, as often as you need to. My word, I want to kneecap these people right now. :P)
