Pan's Labyrinth ALSO requires big strong arms if available imo. Not to be confused with t'other Labyrinth, which is better with female accompaniment (alcohol, icecream, popcorn and giggles optional extras).
I dunno about magic blue smoke, but you could try praying to St Vidicon?
Heh, I've not read much about Saint Vidicon, but I gather I really ought to pray to him given how often computers try to die around me :(
I had heard that Pan's Labyrinth needed someone to hug too, how fortunate that I have someone who fits the bill :) (and who likes being the big strong man for me *makes a grinning goofy face*)
I totally agree though - the Bowie-filled version definitely is there for the girly nights - I think it's the tights, and the fact that they really don't leave much to the imagination...I think my favourite character's always been Sir Didimus though (even if I couldn't say it when I was a tot - I added an epi- to the front...oops...) - he's just very sweet, and slightly incapable...
Great, now I want to watch it again :) *ponders the dvd*
ok 1) no, don't be silly, of course it wasn't something you said 2) it's life, people come and go out of it, now it's my time to go from yours. I wish you well.

Also, I don't even live in the North East anymore, and haven't for years.
I wish you all the best.
