Well, crap.
It's March...how did that happen? I posted in January, turned around and now it's the end of the first week in March!
So far this year I've kept my bf (who is *gorgeous* I adore him, more importantly, he adores me and told me last night that he was falling in love with me - I have little hearts floating round my head like a crown currently) I have managed to keep my job this far - next step? Make it permanent - which means making my boss an offer he can't refuse, and one that I can live with...really need a decent wage as I want to move out of my flat at some point in the relatively near future - unfortunately, there's a lot of fixing to do before that can happen - need to sort out the bathroom lights (I don't know anything about electrickery and am reluctant to play with it, especially because I might make things release the magic blue smoke that engineers are so afraid of. Without that, the electrickery won't play, as far as I can tell...silly conversation time, flist...if releasing the magic blue smoke stops electrics from working, does that mean electricity is magic? :D) amongst other things before I could rent this place out. I really don't want to sell - it's nice to have a bolt-hole just in case everything goes wrong. Which it won't, because I am much better at this whole life thing than I used to be.
I have to say that the last couple of months have been fantastic - I've been totally out of my comfort zone at work - I suspect until I've actually done a full year, that will be the case the whole way though, I have spent a lot of time with John, though only stayed over around once every ten days (but was there last night and getting two nights of him next week, woo!) I've been to the cinema and seen Alien with a big bunch of John's friends - I was really glad to have a big strong arm to hide under, I'd forgotten that one was scary...we're going to see Aliens on Monday night - same cinema - they have a habit of doing the cult classics, which is great - really want to go and see Pan's Labyrinth as well - must only do those things on Mondays, as the student price after 5pm? £3.50! (yes, I'm cheating - my AAT entitles me to an NUS card...at some point I will actually do my AAT and so on...I've just been a bit more focused on my new job (and bf) than anything else, I think...
Ah well :)
I think it might be time for bed - it appears to be quarter to sunday...
