That DOES suck. They should not have left you dangling for so long. That's really cruel to you.

I find the lack of availability of CBT on the NHS fucking shocking. That is crap :/. Good luck.

The availability of CBT on the NHS may be shocking, but in my case it's not because it wasn't available per se; it wasn't available to me because I'm 'a complicated case.' Bah.

In my geopraphical area, the only people who get referred on to the NHS mental health specialists are people exhibiting psychotic behaviour... no amount of neurotic behaviour seems to be sufficient for referral :-s

This is another really exasperating example of how trans intolerant the NHS are. It's absurd that despite being diagnose with borderline personality disorder, they won't give you therapy, basically because you're transgender. I'd be in a writing angry letters mood.

DBT would be of enormous benefit to you I think for the borderline personality disorder, and maybe CBT for the food issues that you sometimes mention?

I really hope that you don't have to wait for the therapy on the NHS. What happens if you transition and still feel unhappy, will they give you therapy then? And at what point do they consider you fully transitioned? Stupid government drones, rar.
