about finding a run/organising something, if you contact the fundraising department of whichever charity you want to support, they should be able to either get you onto a run that they've already got places on, or help you organise something. they might also give you a nice t-shirt to run in and some training tips, if you're lucky :o)
I knew how much of a big deal it was for you running outside. I am so pleased to hear that you managed it! Oh i am sure that your shoes are perfectly suitable for pavement running.
Yes, absolutely i would sponsor you. Here's a thought: could i do it too? Either alongside you or maybe at a different time, but still raising money for a good cause together. I have been looking into the Cancer Research 5K runs but there isn't one locally coming anytime soon.
jangles suggested doing a Sport Relief 3 mile run. We could certainly do that together. The money that Sport Relief raises is spent by Comic Relief at home and abroad. What do you think? We could do the London or Southampton on Sunday 16th March.
