I've put my CT5K on hiatus because of a lack of suitable footwear. I've decided to go shopping for new trainers in the post-chritmas sales (they usually start before January), but I may well pick some up before that. It would be good to take you to the shop in Woking where i got my running shoes. It's good if you can tell them in advance how much you're willing to spend, and then they find something in your price range. For me they even gave me a discount! :)

'Television watching' sounds like a transliteration of the German verb 'fernsehen'. Ich sehe fern - I watch television. But they also use the word 'das Fernsehen' for a television! Very confusing!!

That's because 'fernsehen' is literally "far see(ing)" - exactly what "television" means (except that it is a verb instead of a noun, of course).

Meep, shopping, panic attack, loss of speech... could you handle me doing that Aimee? I sometimes go with things written down (eg. size 8, less than £50, has to be black or possibly silver/purple, I'd like to be able to walk in them too so I don't have to carry a spare pare of shoes around with me).
