Books and desire
I am re-reading Small Gods by Terry Pratchett. This makes me a happy bunny. I really like the opening paragraphs. It's different to most discworld novels¹ in that it doesn't start by describing the discworld (on the backs of 4 elephants which stand on Great A'Tuin the turtle who is swimming through space)... maybe because it is set in Omnia, and
