Just a quick post here. My grandfather is doing well. He woke up from the stroke in fine form, apparently fully as sharp as ever. He was to be released to a rehab facility today or tomorrow at the latest. My mom and everyone in Virginia all sound much more relaxed. So am I. I hope we all get a big break before any other emergencies pop up

I was 30 when they married. I lost my father at 17 and there just was no desire to try to fill that space in my life. Sounds horrible putting it like that, doesn't it?
Not at all. At least not to me.
PS: I'm almost done with Overdue. I could have finished it tonight but Tuesday nights are pretty much reserved for watching TV/getting nothing else done in my house. -_- Here, have a random line:
