Last trip of 2007 and first trip of 2008

My last trip of 2007 was to Michigan, to visit my cousin and her daughter there. It was a trip that was planned entirely a week before I left, since I didn't know until the last minute whether I could actually go there (I had been asked to work over the period of December 26th - December 31st). However, my manager was nice enough to let me take the ( Read more... )

Somehow you look kind of broken holding C in your arms :P (and she seems to be wanting to get out). And that's a very nice warm fuzzy sorta house (which is suitable for many cats, aside from the problem of fur everywhere)

APPLE PANCAKE HAS ME DROOLING

o.o;;; I am not mpittenedbroken and she didn't want to escape, that's just your imagination~

methinks cats (especially multiple ones) + baby = trouble

And I agree with you about the apple pancake.

Thank you! Most of them weren't really that remarkable IMO, but I liked the ones of snow in Michigan and the sunrise from the airplane window the most, in addition to the ones of my cousin and my niece. =)

Oh my goodness what a cute little baby!

Kalamazoo is my hometown!! Michigan is kind of deteriorating a bit, but I miss Kalamazoo as I remember it :( (Haven't lived there in years.) How did you like it?

Well, to be fair, we were only in Kalamazoo for one evening (and visiting Bell's Brewery/Bar, at that), so I couldn't really say much about it. But it did look pretty well-maintained and decent. Plus, it has a nice name :P~~~

Did you happen to see the university while in Kalamazoo? >o

TMITLI (opposite of TMI). What meetup is that? Is it secret?

And, uh, I didn't go ski, that's for sure. ^^;;

I think we drove past it (or maybe it was WMU?) but it seemed like a pretty ordinary university. ^^;

I know what you did last summer on the ski slopes! *poses*

Thanks again for the wishes :) and thanks again (I cannot thank you enough xD) for the present :D

The trips sound great :D Though I can imagine what a horrible thing it is when your flight is cancelled. My brother returned from Romania and because of the heavy (HEAVY) snowfall his flight was delayed and when he finally got to Brussels there were bomb alerts at almost every station, resulting in him coming home at 3.30 a.m., after 12 hours of traveling...

And ohmy I'm in love with that pendulum clock :D

Great pictures!
