This idea will be interesting if it takes off, because it'll be the first anime-themed cafe in Singapore as far as I know. And a maid cafe certainly would appeal to a lot of people. :P

2) Yeah, it inconveniences everyone for the public facade of extra security (at least here)

2) And even then, sometimes it's doubtful whether you're really getting any extra security - I think Bruce Schneier has a lot of posts in his blog about the "security theater" that's going on right now. In this case, though, it's especially hard-hitting -- more so than the normal delays or throwing out lipstick, etc. -- because many of these instruments are irreplaceable.
3) I didn't say that I would give up playing games either. :P I just wanted to ponder about the dangers of becoming so addicted and absorbed that reality loses meaning.
