Hi! Welcome back. LJ has gotten very lively since the pandemic. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the things keeping me sane.
I never commented before, but I ZOOMED through your Xander\Faith Clevelandverse stories, and they're excellent. So well characterized! I was so busy bingeing on them, I never bothered to leave feedback. I would love to read anything more, and a published book would truly rock.
Thank you! I'm kinda thrilled that this has been a byproduct of the Rona. Nothing in social media has suited me quite like DW/LJ.
I'm so glad you're enjoying the fic! I've actually reread some of it myself I kinda miss writing about them! I've mostly written MCU fic lately, but my latest one has gone excruciatingly slowly. I really do want to finish it.
Ahh, the job sucked so much that when I was fired I practically danced out of the building, and I literally did play bongos on my car hood in happiness. Sadly, I don't think my boss saw, because she was racing to her desk to notify everyone I was gone before the office gossip could blurt it everywhere (she was coming in as I was handing over my key card, and I cheerfully said, "Well THAT'LL be all over!"). I've applied for a couple of things, but really am happy to be done with corporate life. I've done a bit of freelancing, but am no longer needed there. Eh! Ah well!
It's so good to see you! It's been wonderful seeing so many people posting. There's an amazing conference center in West Virginia we stop at every time we go through there, the Tamarack. It's gorgeous! 😊
Oh neat! This is a different one, in Ripley, so pretty close to Ohio. Cedar Lakes, I think is the name. It would have been really lovely to walk around through it, but I had just smashed my knee earlier that month, so I had to car everywhere.
I'm also retired and hunkered down. Not sure how much of the saga you've kept up with, but these days in in NM, not Florida. Usually at DW--I haven't posted on my LJ for ages because I was being stalked over there...very tiresome! Anyway, welcome back!
Nice seeing you! I've been WAY behind on what's going on, but I feel like my return will take this time. Sorry to hear about the stalking. That SUCKS. People. What the hell is wrong with them?
