Congrats on all the vids! And also on that whole getting married thing. *g* But seriously, you're so very talented, and I love seeing what you come out with, and in general it seems like you had a pretty great year, both in terms fandom and life, which is awesome and you deserve it. ((hugs))

However, funnest to make was probably The Door, because I got to collaborate with someone as passionate about the ship as I am, which made the whole process beyond amazing.

Actually my most fun fandom experience this year. Thanks so much for letting me help :D :D

Yeah, that whole getting married thing, what a drag amirite? No, I'm wrong. It was awesome! I never saw myself getting married tbh, but seriously, something changes when you can say 'yeah, see that dork flailing his limbs in a Conan O'Brien-esq fashion? Yeah, that's my husband" I LOVE IT!

Thank you for being a part of that experience with me! It was so awesome, and our sidetracked conversations were the best! I'm so glad I got that opportunity to get to know you better! And our beautiful tragic ship!

*flails because IRL happy couples are the best*

Really though, real people being happy and in love is so awesome. That statement might make me a hopeless romantic, but I think I might be alright with that :D Also, what you said about not ever seek g yourself married reminds be a whole lot of a close friend of mine, who said that exact same thing when we were freshmen in college and now we're juniors and she and the guy she started dating freshmen year are planning to move in together, and have talked about getting married after graduation, and there really isn't a point here, it just reminded me of them.

Brain collabs and sidetracked conversations FTW. :D :D

I've always meant to try making a video of my own but never have. Any tips on program(s) to use or online tutorials to help get started if I were gonna try it out?

Vidding has seriously been a life changing thing for me. And I love it when people are interested in it.

For years I used Windows Movie Maker, and while it was a nightmare and I wouldn't wish it on anyone if they can get a better program, it definitely taught me the ways of patience. Patience is a huge asset. Currently I use Sony Vegas Pro 9, but I've used 8 as well and it was just as good.

As far as online tutorials go, I made a few back in the day but I'm not sure where they went. Simply typing in Sony Vegas tutorial in youtube will bring up a lot of hits, ranging from overall use to specific effects/colors/render settings etc..., so I would start there once you figure out which program you want to use.

And happy vidding! I look forward to what you come up with :)

You did so much in 2012. How so amazeballs, my girl?

I'm excited to see everything you come up with this year. I know you'll make gorgeous things, you'll hate them all, and we will love them all. That's usually how this works. Thank goodness your hate!receptors only latch on to what is, in reality, your absolute perfection. ;P

Remember when I used to make videos like once a week?
Those were horrible!! But I'm so happy I've had you with me almost the entire time.
tbh, if it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't have continued being really passionate about vidding.

I know most times you want to knock me in the head for my negativeness, but thanks for sticking with me all these years and giving me the best compliments, advice, and most importantly friendship, that I don't know what I would do without.

Love you!!
