New Mix! Music is the greatest!

Because I love music so much, I decided that THIS month will have an extra CD.

It was My boyfriend and I's anniversary on the 4th and we had a nice relaxing few days up at his parents house in Southern Oregon.  I told him what I was doing with the monthly cds and he liked it, so I had the idea to make a special anniversary mix and we both discussed

Ah thanks for the link to your Nick and Norah vid! I haven't actually seen it (tho I hear it's fun, and that the book is awesome), but I loooove the cast, and your vid captures the whole idea behind it really nicely, I think.

My significant other and I are lesbian stereotypes, because we love the Indigo Girls, particularly "Power of Two." We don't listen to a lot of music together actually (we are more likely to talk about TV and books), but we/she loves musicals, so, anything musicals is good. Which reminds me, I had a dream last night that we were at a performance of Steven Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. However, (in the dream), I ended up yelling at her for having bad theater etiquette. LOL.

It IS a fun movie, but it was also a tad slow imo. I still enjoyed it though :)

I grew up with my grandmother and my mom, so musicals were a big favorite in our household. I'd like to see more live though. I've only been to one opera before, and not many musicals. I'd love to change that.

New mix! New mix! New mix! I've been listening to your last one on a pretty regular basis since you posted it and now there is a new one! And who of us doesn't love a cheesy power ballad now and then? No one, I tell you.

I had trouble picking out which song to share but here is a favorite by Matthew Barber: And You Give. It is pretty simple, but the beat gets inside your head then it is stuck there for days. At least, this happens to me. :)
