Getting Married

Tomorrow Paladin and I are getting married. It won't be a legal marriage or anything, but I have a number of plans for what to do to celebrate aside from vows. I think I really may suggest jumping over a broom seriously; I mean, why not?
Right about now we're going to have rice and tofurky while watching the beginning episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist. For breakfast I had made us this wonderfully delightful raw banana pudding. Two bananas, one peach, two golden kiwi, a couple spoon fulls of almond butter, and about a half cup of water in the blender and then into two bowls and topped with crushed assorted raw nuts; mostly pecans. I let the bowls sit in the freezer while I cleaned everything else up, and then served them... Ah, tasty.

Good morning!
I'm getting married to my Paladin today.
I'm not psyched, the way I feel I ought to be. I'm pleased.
Pleased is good.
Oh? About those vows...? I should write them up really pretty in marker shouldn't I?
I'd like to do a spell; but I don't have my crystals or candles; and it's those objects that make it feel like a spell and not just a meditation. Sure, I brought my two favorite crystals; the purple imperfect sphere, and the clear quartz point... But they don't make it seem like a ceremony; they make it a focused meditation.
I suppose I ought to include those stones in the 'ceremony' tonight anyway.
I'm imagining using a sheet of one-foot by two-feet paper to write our vows on together in markers. I could make a fancy border of flowers with my professional art markers prior to him coming home, and then we could fill in the words together at the same time. When we're finished, we could read them aloud to each other. I think that would be enjoyable and make for a very special keepsake.
What else?
I'm going to make dried fruit balls of course. I'm going to make them in a few different ways I believe. That's going to take more time than getting dressed.
I pulled out my clothes for later and laid them on the bed not too long ago; I'm going to wear my pink and black corset. The expensive one my mom bought me for my junior prom that I attended with Dragon. On bottom I'm going to wear a short ruffled black skirt, the one that Grey Lamb bought me on a date. I've also selected from my array of stockings a pair that has holes like a fish-net except not in a fish-net design. Rather, they're in a very intricate and attractive pattern. I believe Porcupine bought them for me while we were out shopping at some point.
Also my chain-mail necklace, which I bought for myself at a convention I think. Or Porcupine may have paid for it. I'm not sure, I picked it out. The same story goes for the Celtic bracelet that has a chain attached to a ring, except that it came from a Renaissance fair and not a convention. I picked out, but not sure if I paid or if Porcupine did. I pulled out a pair of decorative pink and black lace and silk gloves that Porcupine got for me for Christmas. Also a silver bracelet with dragons on it I had intended to be for Porcupine, but he never seemed interested in it.
I guess I'm wearing the black heeled booted I brought with me. I don't exactly have any other heals with me; so that's just kinda that. Oh, I also put out my spiked collar. I believe I bought that out of my savings. It was around when I was fourteen or even as young as thirteen that I bought that at Hot Topic.
I've laid out Paladin's clothing as well. His metal necklace with a study metal cross on it. One of his softest long-sleeve button-down shirts. (No shirt underneath.) His pair of skater shorts with the chains hanging down at the sides. One of my favorite pairs of his black “briefs”.
Ha! That took much less time to describe.
Paladin and I started watching Fullmetal Alchemist together last night. I've seen the first few episodes several times in the past now, but nevertheless, it felt so good to be watching them again with Paladin. The cuddling, the closeness, the good story, the shared laughs, the comfort, the warmth, the simplicity... It was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better evening, really.
I clearly don't know what to do with myself right at the moment - I keep pausing while I write to fiddle with my nails. I should go do some grooming I suppose, since that's what seems to be on my mind. I should remember to do up my hair some fancy way later on today.
As your wife I will be devoted to your happiness, pleasure and fulfillment.
