So let's sketch up some wedding vows...
I promise to strive for harmony between our minds, bodies and souls.
I vow to never hurt you intentionally, to always consciously consider your needs.
I will be there for you in every time of need, and as many times of want as are possible.
As your wife, I will take my role as your slave seriously...
We will never fear for being alone;
Because the 'I' and 'You' is no more, everything is 'ours,' and the two of us are an 'us.'
*laughs*
Well, that won't do. Let's try that again.
Paladin,
I am your marigold, and you are my sunshine.
I will keep the creepy crawlies at bay, so that the tomatoes grow healthy.
You will provide me with all the love I need, so that I may grow strongly.
And together we will populate the planet with beauty and love...
Okay, now I'm just being cheezy and not clearly not even trying...
*sigh*
What am I aiming for? I want him to smile and feel touched and happy...
As your wife I will be devoted to your happiness, pleasure and fulfillment.
I will spend my hours, days and years cherishing you, and being there for you.
I will love you and respect you as I do today, always and forever.
At death, we will not part.
My soul will stay by yours and give you energy whenever you have need.
You can always call out to me, and I will be there for you.
I want something more poetic... Less sappy sounding. Argh, this is kinda tough. Oh wait, maybe I have something here between these three attempts...
As your wife I will be devoted to your happiness, pleasure and fulfillment.
I will spend my hours, days and years cherishing you, and being there for you.
I promise to strive for harmony between our minds, bodies and souls.
I vow to never hurt you intentionally; to always consciously consider you in my decisions.
I will be there for you in every time of need, and as many times of want as are possible.
Maybe that's good just as it is. I'll come back to it later and consider again.
