We finished our fifth weekend of Miracle Worker last night.  The man who had played Captain Keller for eight years was not able to play the role this year.  About the time we began rehearsals his kidneys began to fail.  He went down hill fast.  Last night we were told he was in intensive care and about 4 AM this morning he passed away.  I will

I am sorry about Steve, it is always hard to lose someone you care about. I hope that after mourning his passing, a "new" actor will rise to fill his role.

Yay you for making the best of nature's bounty. I'm looking forward to testing your produce one day. Unfortunately not this year, either, but I keep hoping that will change. And thank God your kitchen renovations are sunning a bit slow at the moment! That way I don't feel like a complete failure for not being done with ours. :-p (No, I don't really mean that).

I am sorry for your loss. It sounds like you have very good memories of the time you spent together.

I am eager to see the finished remodel. You have been faithful in keeping us up to date. As opposed to my "promises, promises" to take pictures.
