okay, everybody out of the pool
1) I'm not particularly interested in Michael Phelps. I generally greet any news of him with a bemused "that's cool..." Just, meh? Swimming has never been my thing. I hear he won a lot of gold medals though, so.. that's cool.

I second your second point.
Work is so stupidly stressful. I am plagued by bizarre technical problems. I'm not sure which god I pissed off - Hephaestus? - but if there's a weird tech issue to be had, I will have it and at the worst possible time too. Woo.
Good luck with your job hunt! And crappy neighbors who play Golden Eye (Golden Eye? wtf, really?)
