Everyone gets from point A to point B, but it's pretty easy to distinguish the hesitant shuffle of a lost traveler, the brisk stride of a business woman starting a productive day, the leisurely stroll of a retiree taking pleasure in the morning breeze...

Eavesdrop on the Fedcakes' strategy during a walk-and-talk on the bridge outside their office. Let a slick criminal walk free when his defense team gets the better of Robin in court. Drop in on an interagency baseball game to watch Don psych out a pitcher and earn himself a walk. Zoom in on Charlie, walking across the stage to collect one diploma after another, one award after another. Get inside Larry's head during his first spacewalk as he marvels at the universe, or let Megan visit the monastery to learn walking meditation alongside her favorite quirky physicist. Take that sad last day's walk through the bullpen with Terry, Megan, or even a future Don. Send challenge pairing Liz and Amita on a romantic walk down a sunset beach, or let stealthy Ian sneak silently up behind Amita at her laptop.

This last week we had one member who wasn't just standing around! A shiny sparkly tiara and an armload of roses to magisterequitum who singlehandedly filled the comm with fic in the last week (save one Stand fic). Summer Crossover Spectacular Spotlight!
The Spectacular continues with new fandoms to write crossover or fusion fic for: Lost and Flashpoint!
Lost
This thriller began with a plane crash that stranded its passengers on a tropical island. Set up a meeting between Charlie and recruiter Richard, or assign Don and Billy to search for fugitive Kate. Make Ian or Colby one of Widmore's mercenaries, or fuse physicist Larry into Daniel's place. Let Megan get recruited by Dharma to create profiles and administer psychological experiments. Give Robin the task of prosecuting Kate once she gets off the island, or have Widmore hire Charlie to find the island with math.
Flashpoint
A Canadian import that served as the lead-in for Numb3rs Season 5, this procedural focuses on the Strategic Response Unit - a team of snipers and negotiation specialists. Have Ian show them how it's done, handling a shot so tricky that only a handful of shooters in the world could hope to pull it off. Send Charlie to share his mathematical methods with the team, and land him in the middle of an airport standoff between a potential terrorist and negotiator Greg Parker. Fuse Megan into Jules' shoes, adding deadly shooting accuracy to her skill as a profiler. Pit Don's team against a gang of bank robbers who fled south across the Canadian border, and have Greg and Ed fly in to offer insight and determination not to let them get away again. Colby/Sam slash anyone? /dies from the pretty/
