Some word-prompted drabbles.  Concrit appreciated, as is praise ;) Low levels of FOIP if you know what you're looking for.  Titles prompted this time by oxfordgirl .  Will get round to the others when inspiration hits me.  Feel free to chuck more words at me in the meantime!

In "Children" it isn't clear who's speaking; this may be deliberate.

Upon a close read, I think it is fairly clear, but its certainly not explicit. The commentor is speaking to the author about the absence of something external and the author proceeds to indicate they are internal.

I could be wrong, but in context I think I could guess who is covered in insects.

What are you trying to imply about the lovely, graceful Destrada? Ok, just because she manifested covered in crawling spiders once or twice, it doesn't mean it happens all the time. Our poor dead friend should just have taken less drugs and hallucinated less!

But yes, you got it in one! Lol Destrada's confused headspace, her thoughts are like moontoads in a bouncy castle.

Bastard - yes I see how the juxtaposition would be effective, however that would require Destrada to feel anything but pure, unadulterated loathing for the character in question. From a Good Writing point of view it is definately good advice that I will absorb and contemplate in future, from a mindset point of view - never gonna happen!

Children - mister D got it in one! Looking back, I could have been clearer, but oh god, Destrada's head - she remembers feelings and images, not thoughts. Trying to turn that into narrative is an interesting experience!

Stars - glad you like it! This one was actually the hardest to write as it's more action, less emotion :)
