Getting close!

[cross-posted to nsingman and quartercon]

Okay campers, we're only 11 days away from the official start of QuarterCon 6. That means that it's time to revisit, revise and confirm. Our first draft was here. There are two significant changes from that draft, both of which stem from an effort to be a little cost-conscious ( Read more... )

Okay, thanks for the update!

I'm living about 100 miles away from town at the mo, but I feel confident that I can meet you guys at least twice: I'm thinking Friday at the room party for sure, Thursday at Pat O's (I think, if that's still being done), and perhaps Rock and Bowl. Gas has gone down considerably around here, thank God, but I can't afford a hotel room, so a few judiciously considered trips will have to do.

Quite a trip! I hope you will make the long haul to join us for at least a couple of items on the agenda. You have our mobile numbers, right?

What time will we be leaving for the Abita tour on Friday?

Good point! I should add that info in an edit. The tour on Friday is at 2 PM, so we should leave from the Maison Dupuy at 1.

Put me down for the Brewery tour and Rock-n-Bowl.

On another note, I *might* not be at the brunch on Sunday because Metallica is a bunch of retards and are choosing to play in NOLA on that date. -_-"

Done. Please keep watching this space for more details, including an updated schedule. And brunch on Sunday is from 11 AM to 2 PM. I hope you can stop by for at least part of it to get some grub before or after you have to work!

It depends on how long they keep us for the load-in. I've had times where they've wanted me all day (not likely for this gig), and other times where I was there for 2-3 hrs and then cut.

I'll have to come back for the load-out, but that won't be until 10pm that evening.

So, yeah, I'd love to be able to make it to the brunch because while Metallica is cool and all, they're not my favorite band in existance.

Woohoo! I need to start packing! *G* We may still do Rock-n-Bowl but it'll sort of depend on how Andrew's back is feeling and how badly I want to bowl vs having him just sit there watching :) But even if you end up doing a shuttle, we can always grab a cab if we do it at the last minute!

No worries. The limos and shuttles all seem to have a four hour minimum on Saturday, and I don't want to burden everyone with an expense that's significantly more than cabs would be, so we're definitely going to do taxis to the Rock-n-Bowl.
