Slytherin Practice - Monday np_quidditch September 24 2007, 22:34:58 UTC

Slytherin practice is held on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 (evening 1).

...runs? Since when did they need to do runs? The only thing they used their legs for in Quidditch was to grip the broom, and really, that hardly merited the need for running. Still, Destruere had put Kinsella in charge (oh damn, did that mean that Kinsella'd be captain next year? If that happened, Ramsey had half a mind to quit the team, though he supposed that, at the moment, it was practically like the older boy was the captain), so he supposed that meant that he should try and do as told (within reason, natch) and stay on the seventh year's good side. Tightening his hood around his face, Ramsey set off at an easy jog.

He and Cody better not be the only ones doing this.

Cody was used to this sort of practice... for football. He was, afterall, a football player first. Suicides weren't the easiest thing in the world, but Cody grinned and did it anyway. He sprinted past Ramsey, going as fast as he could... and slid in the mud. What was Kinsella going to say? Cody'd still practice. He just wanted to get dirty.

Jogging along, Ramsey couldn't help but notice that Kinsella was not participating in the runs. Passing Cody, he stopped long enough to help his friend up. "Might want to wait 'til you've cleats to go at it like that, mate," he said not unkindly. "Check it out," he added, jerking his head towards the assistant captain. "Her royal highness is apparently too delicate to run."

"Her royal highness must not want to get dirty either," said Cody. He had been grateful for the hand up, but knew that Ramsey had missed the point. He wiped some of the mud off of his arm and smeared it on Ramsey's. "Wanna slide in the mud?" he asked. "You're already dirty, after all."

Week two practice is closed.

Slytherin had 16 posts in full rounds from active characters (with Mel stepping out on hiatus as of the 17th). At 1/7 point for each post, 2 stat points were earned.
