Saturday February 17, late afternoon, outside quality quidditch supplies ollieollieox July 6 2008, 12:44:42 UTC
Ollie was more than a little bit restless at the moment. It was the weekend and he'd just finished his shift. Ashleigh had taken off with her husband for some Valentine's surprise and he didn't know if she was back, yet. How many days did they need, anyway? Poor Ollie was bored to death without his best friend and not at all jealous.

He kicked at the ground as he walked away from his workplace, trying to think of something to do. He was young. He was adorable. Obviously, it shouldn't be that difficult to come up with something to do with his time other than pine over his married best friend.

Hopefully, someone would come along to distract him soon.

For Valentine's Day, Ed had taken Ashleigh to the most adorable bed and breakfast she'd ever seen. Originally, they'd only planned to spend the night but, before she'd realized it, one night had turned into three. While she'd had a completely amazing time, she had missed her Ollie more than she could possibly explain and, as soon as she got home, she went in search of him.

Knowing his schedule better than she knew her own, Quality Quidditch Supplies was the first stop on her list. As luck would have it, just as she was coming up the street, he exited the store. Fortunately, though, he didn't see her coming.

Taking a running start, she charged toward him. "Ollie!" she squealed loudly, a massive smile on her face. "I've missed you so much!!"

Before he really had the change to respond to her words, she was practically leaping onto his back and wrapping her arms around him in a very enthusiastic hug.

Had she mentioned how very much she'd missed her best friend?

Ollie barely had time to place the voice that was squealing his name when he suddenly had a small blonde attached to his back and he grinned broadly as his hands moved automatically to her legs to help pull her up and support her position there.

He was surprised to see her here and very, very pleasantly so. "Ashleigh!" he exclaimed excitedly, reaching behind him and pulling her around his body so he could give her a proper hug. "You're back? I mean of course you're back, because you're here. God I missed you. Never leave me like that again!"

It was a ridiculous request, given that she was married, but Ashleigh was Ollie's best friend. They'd rarely spent time apart in their lives and it was like torture when he couldn't see her for awhile.

Not to mention that whole thing where he was insanely in love with her, but he wasn't going to actually admit to that.

When Ollie's hands moved to her knees to support her weight, she hitched herself a little higher and pressed a kiss to his cheek. Merlin, she'd missed him! Honestly, there weren't enough words in the English language to express just how much she'd missed him. Sure, it was probably a little insane for her to miss him so much but, in her defense, they'd been apart very few times in their lives and it felt... unnatural not to have an Ollie nearby at all times ( ... )

Jojo was up early and out of his apartment. He didn't like spending too much time in there, or any time for that matter. The place was for sleeping and little else, he needed to be flexible. Especially given the hullabullo caused by a certain little event he'd managed to get involved in. It just wasn't safe to be in one place for long anymore...or at least, it didn't feel safe. He may have been overanalyzing.

That didn't mean he regretted their actions in any way. He was quite proud actually. Jojo knew what he was involved in, what he was doing...it was all right. Jojo could feel it in his heart. This was the right thing to do. He wouldn't be doing it otherwise. And as proud as he was, he still kept his head down as he wandered down Diagon Alley. No point attracting attention now was there?

Nothing was better then a cup of joe in the morning before repotting a bunch of fanged geraniums. She was on her way back to Alton's Oasis when someone's shoulder brushed hard enough against hers to send her coffee spilling over her arm.

"Oi! You owe me a new coffee!" Addie turned around and grabbed the guys arm just in case he wasn't aware of the fact that she was talking to him, and she actually did intend for him to buy her a new cup of coffee.

The minute her hand moved to grab him Jojo had spun around to face her, his other arm already reaching back for his wand. He stopped the moment her words made sense to him. The young man's expression softened, though his eyes remained unsure for a moment longer until he registered the sight of her spilled coffee on her arm. Jojo frowned at his carelessness, "Sorry about that."

He glanced at the blonde headed girl. She seemed familiar. "Do I know you?" He asked distractedly, as he reached into his pocket for a packet of tissues which he then offered her.

Her lips twinged in a bit of a smirk as he apologized (and she did happen to notice his second or two of distrust - which made her smirk all the more. curiosity always getting the better of her.)

Addie laughed at his second question. "Possibly.." She seriously eyed him up and down; taking in his physique "Probably. Alas boys like you, as attractive as you are, seem to be a dime a dozen in my life."

"You're lucky day though, you can interrogate me more while you buy me a new cup." Addie winked and without a pause took his hand and strolled back in the direction she had came from.

There was no question about it. Little by little, Diagon Alley was changing. As Jack wandered the street, he was making mental notes of all the things that weren't the same now as they were 8 or 9 years ago when he was getting ready to start Hogwarts. Still, on a crisp evening like this one, with the shop windows starting to glow as the sun went down and people bustling all around, it was a great place to be.

Only thing was, he didn't know what exactly he was doing here. He knew he'd come here for a reason, some errand he had to run, but he'd completely forgotten what that was. So for now, he'd just wander. It would come to him eventually, surely.

"Are you stalking me Mr. Martin?" Addie couldn't help but say as she caught up with her friend from across the street. And it just so happened that she was feeling a little frisky and, probably to catch Jack by surprise, moved close into him her lips meeting his and then dragged her teeth over his lower lip as she pulled away just as she had came. "Cause you know I'm never one for games..."

She grinned and stepped back into appropriate friend distance. "hmmm... how's the girlfriend?"

Jack barely had time to blink and Addie's lips were on his. Hel-lo Addie! Then, just as quickly, she was standing a safe distance away... and asking him about his girlfriend? Sheesh, he never knew what to expect with this girl. Which was more than half the fun.

"I'm no stalker," he said, keeping his composure. "After all, you are the one who just snuck up on me." He winked. "And I don't have a girlfriend." Which was true. There was a girl he'd been seeing regularly, still was seeing regularly, but nothing official.

"I vaguely remember a mention of some girl.." Addie bit her own lip for a second and then just smiled and moved on as if it had never been thought on at all.

"So what brings you to my lovely area of London? Waiting till I got off work? Stalkerboy?" She even laughed a little bit as she amused herself and took wrapped her coat around her as the cool air touched her skin.

Another day of hard labor. Ollie liked his job, of course, so it wasn't so bad. He was a little tired from standing around all day, but not so tired that he wasn't fully intending to go out now that he was done.

It was Friday night! Going home was simply unacceptable! He wanted to go out and have some FUN. The question was.. where did he want to go?
