friday february 16, evening, random club, londonspunkylilJuly 6 2008, 12:31:13 UTC
A rough night at the office and now Lil was off blowing off some steam. Her quarry of the evening had gotten away, which annoyed her more than just a bit, so after a few rounds with her punching bag, which hadn't quite done the trick, she'd headed off to her favourite club, hoping to blow off a bit more steam. Hey, if she got lucky? Maybe she'd find some hot guy to hook up with, too.
She changed into her favorite clubbing outfit - a tight black halter top and a pair of black leather pants. She didn't spot anyone worth playing with at first glance, so she opted to get a little solo action, hitting the dance floor on her own and easily falling into pace with the music.

Addie was exhausted and a bit high-strung. Valentine's day was never a good week for Herbologists... at least for the ones that weren't really reaping the monetary profits and hated dealing with idiots. What was even more fun was the day after when people return honking daffodils that seemed cute and quirky to the buyer get on the valentine's nerves.
Escaping to a place where no one would know her name was definitely on the menu for the evening so when Addie finished her shots with the cute bartender she gave a small sigh (and smirk) when she noticed Lil on the floor. "figures."
It always seemed like Lil and her were in one constant competition. friendly competition of course, but all the same...
She smoothed out her red satin minidress and headed out to the floor to join her cohort. "We have to stop meeting like this."

Lil laughed at Addie's comment. "Hey, I was here first," she pointed out, not even pausing in her dance. "Besides.. I bet we could give some of those boys a good show." She smirked at the thought. It was amazing how easy men were. Dance with another girl and they'd be practically eating out of your hand. It was like they didn't understand that concept that they were pretty much useless to a woman who was actually into girls.
Lucky for them, though, Lil happened to be very much into men. She just enjoyed getting them good and worked up before she'd let them have what they wanted.

"Looks like you got it covered.." Addie had no inclination to tease boys with their dancing when she could just as easily walk up to any of them and start snogging them right where they stood. She was never one to play games.. unless it was with a willing participant.
"I'll be over there..." Addie pointed towards the bar and a group of guys that were clearly watching Lil. "Hey, but thanks for warming them up for me." Addie gave a smirk and headed over towards the bar; figuring that Lil would either join her on the terms that she liked or continue at her own game.
Tuesday, March 30th - A quiet wizarding pub somewherelenore_greySeptember 4 2008, 04:16:07 UTC
Lenore had really thought that with working for the Ashworths and having the freedom to do basically anything she wanted, she'd have been off this island for sure; spending time somewhere warm, never mind safer. For some reason, she kept finding herself back though. Seriously, she was going to investigate a novelty in Brazil or Italy any day now. Check out and stay away for a few months. Hopefully

Ed was supposed to be meeting someone to make plans of an alliance with the order. That seemed to be what his job in the order was becoming now; and unfortunately he had no real job yet to speak of.
His eyes scanned the room for the man he was supposed to meet but stopped abrubtly when he saw Lenore. Immediately he was reminded of their last conversation which hadn't ended well. And of course was followed by the attack that had left her in the hospital.
Well that hadn't made him feel guilty at all but Ed didn't know what to do with himself. So in the end he just ended up staring at her from the entrance.. stuck between deciding what he should do and what he wanted to do.

To say that Lenore was enjoying her evening was probably an overstatement. She wasn't sure why she was here but it had seemed like a comfortable place to have dinner. She used to come here after work occasionally and even if the Ministry made her uncomfortable as a general rule anymore, Lenore wasn't going to let them take one of her pubs from her. It wasn't like she was a regular these days anyway. Safe enough.
She'd been having the quiet meal she was after until she glanced up and saw Ed Agate at the door. Fuck. She looked away quickly and tried to maintain a calm expression as she stared at her food. This was not good. Ed was quite possibly the last person on in the world she wanted to run into. Maybe he hadn't seen her yet. That would be ideal. She could leave money for the food here and sneak out the loo or something

Ed sighed and rubbed his mouth as he tried to decide how to handle things. First - he finished looking around for his associate and didn't see him. So there was no pressing meeting to attend for the moment.. and he did feel like he owed Lenore something.. although he still stood behind the words he'd spoken to her on their last encounter.
"Bloody hell" he mumbled as he decided to at least act... normal? and go up and say hi. Yeah, this wasn't awkward.
He stood a safe distance from her table; not inviting himself to sit down (as he might have done in the past) but trying to test the waters so to speak.

That? Was definitely better.
