Why, hello there, Katou! All is well in the crowded house, or as well as one could hope for, I suppose.

How are things in your quiet corner of the woods?

Not lately. It's kind of hard to cram anyone else in here, honestly.

Sounds exciting; definitely moreso than this place. We tend to wander around with our faces stuffed in books and journals more often than not.

I was unaware that there were different blood types. What's the point?

Ah, Caesar! Et tu, Brute, beware the Ides of March? Now that was an ambitious man. Makes for a pretty strong name for a strategist... I'm being rude again, aren't I? You probably get that all the time. Anyway, nice to meet you, I'm the Doctor.

What's an Ides of March? I've never heard anything like that before, to be honest.

Hello, Doctor; pleased to meet you -- or as pleased as you can get to meet other prisoners, I suppose. (Do I call you 'Doctor', or do you have something you'd rather be called?) How are you settling in?

[ooc: *cracks up* It's been so long in coming, I swear.]

It's what the Roman calendar would call the fifteenth of March. It was a festival day back then but it's more famous in later years as the day when Julius Caesar was assassinated. That's completely accurate, surprisingly enough. The Romans were decent record-keepers.

Just the Doctor. I'm doing well, lost a few things, found a few people who were supposed to be lost instead.

I ... see. Well, I made it through this March unscathed; here's hoping it's not a cursed name or anything, right?

I hope it was a satisfactory trade for you.

So you're the one in charge?

You look kind of unimpressive to me. Well, it's not like the same can't be said for the Prince; of course, he is only 1,313. ♥

Just call me Etna. As long as you aren't a complete idiot, I'll be your vassal. ... When it's convenient anyway. ♥

I ... suppose that's the case. If you can truly say anyone's in charge around here.

... It's a little embarrassing how often I hear that.

All right, Etna, I'll do my best to live up to your expectations. Any assistance would be appreciated, really. I'm not that picky.

Same here, the first time I encountered it. I spent far too long watching the library repair itself over several days -- a fascinating process, really. I'm inclined to believe it's magic, but that may be simply because that's what I'm more familiar with.

It might be, at that. If we could harness such regeneration on ourselves ... it might stave off the effects of the Malnosso's imperfect resurrections.

I ... didn't pay attention that either, now that you mention it. Perhaps a few experiments are in order?
