Absolutely. It's the largest building in the square, close to the schoolhouse.

Are you the political figurehead of this settlement?

As for myself, my name is X: rather, Megaman X, but nearly everyone just refers to me as X. Well met, Caesar.

As much as anyone could be, I suppose. I have no 'official' status, however.

Pleased to meet you, X.

A friend of mine has informed me of the situation here...mostly. I do have one question, though, just for conformation's sake.

Back in my world we have something called Mavericks; they're reploids -um...robotic people- who've picked up a virus that makes them act violently and erratically, attacking humans and occasionally fellow reploids. He told me there aren't any Mavericks here, but it's a difficult concept for me to grasp considering that for the better part of my operational time, I've been fighting these Mavericks.

To your knowledge, there aren't any Mavericks here, correct?

To my knowledge, no. I've ... never heard of such a thing, X. There's a lot of aspects of this place that will take quite a while to grasp, I'm afraid. Is there any defining characteristic of these Mavericks that might help with identification? I would assume they wouldn't just come out and say that's what they are, anyway.

Indeed I have. My warnings still stand, however, but I will assist you; likewise, with the influx of these "New Feathers," perhaps a census is in order.

If you've got better ideas, Sephiroth, I'm all ears. We can't allow our people to keep killing each other off, however -- this is getting seriously ridiculous, and it's difficult to imagine that it will get anything but worse without some sort of intervention.

The last one didn't work out so well, did it? I'll see if I can't draw up something more formal. I don't know how much more participation we're likely to expect the second time around, without anything to deter them from staying quiet.

I have a few ideas, yes, but I wouldn't exactly call them better.

No, I'm afraid not. It would take more than a simple journal entry at this point; appointed investigators, door-to-door visits and the like. Perhaps even hearsay, as we apparently have a few rogues in our midst.

Best discussed in private, I assume?

Quite true. Something to be added the list, for sure. Perhaps we should wait until the last of the new arrivals for the month has appeared in our midst.

Caesar-dude? Hello, Mikey.

I'm sure you hear this often, but you appear to be a very large turtle. What sort of world do you come from? I've met members from the Duck Clan as well as the Lizard Clan, but I've yet to meet a Turtle Clan.

I'm from New York! Uh, that's the US, on Earth and stuff.

Turtle Clan? Hey, that's a cool name for us! It's just me an' my brothers, though.
