[Rise has been making her way slowly back to the village. She's biting on her lower lip and trying not to cry.]

[She slides down the side of the bridge, sitting at the river bed.]

[the journal clicks on to Rise making a small yip]

[wings flutter]

[There's another yip before the journal clicks off.]

I really liked those meteor showers at first, but now...

[Rise squeaks in surprise as the house shakes. She hits the floor and the journal goes bouncing the other way.]
