What a sweet vacation. I hung out in Bangor for a day and it was WAY less fun.

What do you layer on your lower half to not have mighty chilly legs in twenty-degree weather? Your winter outfits look so warm and stylish and I want a way to wear dresses when it's below freezing without freezing my bits off, two pairs quality tights has been found insufficient.

These two days I was wearing leggings + long thick socks (from American Apparel and Marshall's) with another pair of cheap thinner socks underneath. When I went out at night I had 2 pairs of tights on and yeah it was freezing and it sucked, but the club was only a few blocks away. In general I look for over-the-knee socks with some wool content and layer them.

Also for when it gets reaaaally cold I have this ugly ass pair of cashmere leggings I made out of 3 sweaters:
