So here we are - baby's due two weeks today. There have been sporadic signs of enthusiasm from her, but far more in the way of laziness. She clearly takes after her Mum already. I'm not really ready for her yet; there's still so much to do, not least packing my hospital bag. Still, I reckon I'm probably going to have plenty of time to do that

Re: Water birth
That's about it. you have a 6 hour bath while John sits at the side on the uncomfortable step and gets back ache. (Do they care? no! it's all mum mum mum)

The midwife may give him a jug to keep the water moving...or to be honest, keep him occupied and out of everyones way.
