what more is there to say other than may is bike month? ride your bike for everything you do.

two months in and 23 pounds later...

it feels wonderful. all together, we have lost 65 pounds. amazing i tell you.

my goal was 35 lbs by christmas, at about 2 pounds a week, i should be pretty close.

Today is day four and i'm still going strong. i'm about ready to go out for a late morning bike ride.

we have been walking a lot. the dogs are happy.

i'm excited.

i'm on a diet.

i've started riding my bike to work again.

i've started to really really watch what i eat.

i'm consuming less than 1000 calories a day.

AND i'm not drinking soda.

i'm doing pretty darn good. at least i feel good.

i can do it right? i mean i know i can right?

so why the hell am i sucking so bad at it?

i wish i had enough money to fly myself to ani and regina tonight.

we underpaid our property taxes for the past year almost, and house payment went up $244 a month. bullshit i tell you. especially since we tried to do everything right. banks, let me tell you. they certainly have their shit together.

so instead, i'll just wish i was there....
