It may not have made you nostalgic, but it made me so. The houses between the trees reminded me a lot of my times at King Open (where I spent my pre-BUA 9 years). Perhaps this is because I don't think I have matured a whole lot since then. I don't know what this says about me then or now.
Well, I think the reason it failed to really make me sentimental was that I have few memories of the place, and fewer good ones. First of all, I left after 4th grade, which was 8 years or so ago, and haven't returned until today, so my memories are bound to be quite rusty and few, Also, while there weren't bullies, exactly, there were mean kids, and they were the main reason I moved after 4th grade. And I did make a few friends, but I'm sure I'm blocking substantial parts for a reason I'd rather not get into. Few/no good memories = not very sentimental. Glad they served you well, though.
weirdness...i JUST got back from my lacrosse game at danehy...and our star player went to cambridge friends...and so did the kid who sat next to me today during SATs...both juniors though, maybe you don't know them...but hmm what a small world.
ooo no no i meant that they're juniors now (@ cambridge rindge & latin) but attended the friends school in elementary school hehe. also, do you know the hildebiddles (sp?)? i think they live on your street. their foreign exchange student is on the lacrosse team too hehe.
Oh, I see Yes, I know the H's. We sometimes see John and chat for a little bit. He's quite a character. I saw him on the subway once, and at Tom's dad's memorial service.
