"Wow?" Parker gave him a slow smile, then used his distraction to grab another chip. "Cool. Got it on Rodeo Drive. It's supposed to be like Ava Gardner's. Me, I'm not so sure."
Weiss was still scrambling for... anything. "I'm pretty sure Ava Gardner wouldn't look nearly as hot," he said, words lining up one after the other like soldiers for the slaughter.
Which got another wide grin out of her, and a very definite mental chortle. "Yeah, but watch, she shows up, you ditch me for the femme fatale." She sighed. "Alas. So. Angel harassed you yet?"
Parker cocked an eyebrow. "Angel? The guy who looks like-- I told you he was a dead ringer for Seely. I swear I did. Emphasis on dead." She leaned forward and snagged a veggie off his plate, looking for Angel so she could push Weiss toward him.
"Yeah. I think Seely mentioned something about it, too, come to think of it. I just kinda... didn't really click. Go Spy Weiss with the observation skills." He glanced at his plate. "You just want to take the whole thing?"
"No!" Parker put her hands behind her back, grinning at him. "I just wanted to graze, that's all. If I eat anything more, this dress is in jeopardy." She shrugged. "Sue me, food looks better when it's on a guy's plate."
"Bobbing. Headbangers go to Def Leppard concerts. Headbobbers can be found at any social gathering. Observe." Weiss casually leaned against the nearest wall and nodded his head in time to the music.
Parker started snickering immediately, and bobbed her head back just once before she completely cracked up. "Okay, I'll leave that to you. And I'll-- do something else."
