238, darn close to all day

After leaving Callisto's room Angel went back to 238. This was his last day in Fandom. He had to pack. There was plenty of time before he needed to meet the portal he'd arranged to go back home, but right now he felt better keeping himself busy with the mundane stuff

Aeryn doesn't actually know anything's happening today. She opens the door so she can go feed the sea monkeys, immediately seeing what's going on and saying, "Oh. Sorry."

She pauses, and asks, "Already?"

[Will be headed to work in half an hour, but wanted to get one girl in there early.]

"Already," Angel confirmed.

"Do you know where you're going yet?" she wonders.

"LA," Angel said. "My dimension. Other than that I don't know. Have a few ideas though."

"It's a start," she nods, giving Sean a little smile when she notices him. "I suppose this means more room in the closet again, hm?"

Sean wagged his tail at Aeryn.

"Shower too," Angel said. "Though I'm tempted to leave some of the hair stuff in the hopes John will use it."

"I'm sure he will," she says, completely seriously. "It will probably just be in some creative way."

"You... are probably not wrong," Angel said. "There'd be mohawks. Or strange sculptures in common rooms."

"I fear for the pets at this school," Aeryn says, shaking her head.

"So your dimension... This is someplace you can come back from every once in a while, right?"

"It is," Angel said. "It's also some place people could visit if they wanted."

"Good," she says. "I'd hate to think you could be rid of all of us so easily."

"Nah," Angel said. "I'm like a bad penny. Hard to get rid of. They even sent me down to hell and it didn't stick."

Granted his tone was a little more somber than the joking words implied.

"It's a win for us, then," she says seriously. "It'll be strange fighting off the next invasion without you."

"You ever need me, I'm there," Angel said. "It's been an honor fighting by your side all these times."

"I'm sure there will be more," she says. "If not, I'll be disappointed."

"You realize you've probably just jinxed us for some huge monster to come smashing through that door," Angel said, looking to the door a bit worried that that was about to come true.
