Well, that's Sawong away again, but not without some last-minute hassles. Turns out her direct flight from Heathrow to SFO was cancelled overnight, and now she has a 3-hour stopover in her favourite airport (underline is the new sarcasm), Chicago O'Hare. Excellent :-) Does Scene it have online play? No point in me buying it otherwise as Bec will never play me... My gamer tag thingy is dtrouton (yes, I continue to be original)

Unfortunately no online play in Scene It, but it's a moot point until I can figure out what the hell my router has been doing to my network. For the past few months Doomfiend has been plugged directly into the modem, so going back to a network is going to be strange.

My main problem with it is that it does not work. I suspect that it has been the cause of many of my internet dropouts over the past two years. I can't explain why, or what it's doing to cause this effect, but cutting it out of my network solved everything. Except leaving Mum out in the cold signal-wise, but that's been deemed acceptable losses in my quest for better net time. Unfortunately, with the inclusion of my as-yet unnamed Xbox, that's got to change.
