actually leaving everytime i threatened to when the kids were little is what makes them so well behaved today. all i have to do is give them THE LOOK and make a throat slitting gesture and they straighten RIGHT up and usually no more problems for the rest of the week.

Is three and a few months too late to start? I just realized I WASN'T doing that last week. This is the first time I've actually done it correctly since they became cognizant enough for it to matter. I've actually been training them TO TANTRUM. Ugh.

no way. it only takes a few months to work too, but you will have to reinforce several times a year until age 8 (things take awhile to set for kids). just be consistant. if you say you will leave once they reach a certain point, be prepared to leave. i would leave everything. grocery store, chuck e cheese, county fair, drugstore, whatever.

I finally started reading the first part of your Holy Seed book. It's pretty good, so far! What type of story is it? Anything paranormal at all? Is it a horror story?

If I sent it to you, it's a trashy romance. If you are reading Saraline's version online, it's a straight creepy cult historical. If you are going to read (which you won't) the version I put forth after I'm done editing for efictionnotice, it will be paranormal. =)

And thanks! It's okay, I think, though the pace drags sometimes and the characters sometimes lack motivation for the things I have them do. It was my very first attempt.

I'm actually just proud that I completed two novels this year. That's...something. Crap or not. haha

lol everyone has times where its hard to update lj, and with everything you have going on, mom to twins, house work, jobs on the side, and taking care of the twins all day as well for the most part.. i congratulate you, thats multi tasking nailed to a t. keep doing what your doing, cause its brilliant, and never let anyone tell you any different.

I'll probably write about the twins and operation actually do the shit you threaten to do tomorrow in the blog (because ppl love when you admit how much you suck in public...no seriously I get the most hits on the fail posts). But long story short, they were bad at art class and I brought them home. Usually when I do the football hold out of a place, we go back when they settle down. No more. I shocked the shit out of them by actually going home. WIN. I feel so satisfied, for real. It was worth the kicks to the ribs.

Yay this! Just be consistent and do it every time from now on. The babies will learn you mean business.
