The eyebrow

A few of you have asked about the eyebrow. Most of you probably know already, but an easy way to tell the twins apart is that Dulce's eyebrow curls up at the end in circular fashion.

What you may not know is that this is apparently genetic.

I have weird eyebrows, too. I have a lot of stray hairs at the ends that grow up toward my temples. I pluck them enough so it's not super obvious, but if I get lazy, they start looking pretty silly. Maybe I was just a Vulcan in a past life or something!

My toes are weird. The index and middle ones are joined higher than normal, and the big toe looks more like a fat thumb than a toe.
I never realized that it was weird looking until my niece was born 19 years ago and I saw her feet and they looked precisely like mine. That made me realize that I hadn't seen toes that looked like mine before.

My kids have the same toes.

Oh, I totally forgot. I also have poliosis - a bright blonde streak over my left temple that I've always had. Jilly seems to have it, too, but to a lessor extent.

The big advantage is that when I use semi permanent dyes, it takes it as a brilliant streak among the rest of the hair color (which is a darker dirty blonde).

Todd has something called "curly toe". both the boys inherited it as well. Their pinkie toes curl under the rest of their feet. it's so weird!

oh, and we found out at the ped when she casually mentioned it at one of Samuel's well visit. when we got home we promptly shucked our shoes and socks and low and behold, we found out that Samuel's feet looked exactly like Todd's! When Albert was born, I was so amused to see that his toes curl under as well.

I can my eyes look like they are vibrating? I didn't know that this was not something everyone could do until 7th grade when I did it and a friend freaked out, though we learned that day that our science teacher also could do that.
I can also fold my tongue in half.

Whoa! I knew a kid like that in school.He used to do it to freak the girls out.
