[Adrian's face appears in the video feed; anyone who's familiar with her might notice her hair's been cut short, to about chin length. (Franziska debates for a while before replying - should she just let well enough alone? she hasn't been too pleased with Adrian as of late, and suspects that further contact (at least at this point) might do nothing but exacerbate matters, but is determined to press on, in part to prove to herself that their miscommunication is in no way her fault.

... also, Adrian, offering sweets to lure people over to your apartment sounds very creepy man-in-a-van. B|)

You did that yourself?

[Adrian is not trying to be a creeper; rather, she'd rather that no-one got their hopes up, that's all. That being said, she's doubtful that Franziska's contacted her to get a haircut, so Adrian freezes up a little, and when she responds, her voice is overly dismissive and she ignores Franziska's question entirely.]

Oh, it's you.

(...)

I see you've decided to continue acting like a juvenile.

No, I just decided employing tact would be a waste of time on you.

Oh? And why is that?

I just didn't think you would appreciate it. Clearly, you prefer a more direct way of talking, with little regard for other people's feelings.

I'm quite glad you thought it was a good idea on my part.

...you really do sound like this, you know.

So what is this, some foolish attempt to teach me a lesson?

No, I merely thought it would clarify the communication difficulties that are often expressed between us.

That sounds very much like what I just suggested.

Could you not argue you were the one who taught me a lesson?

Absolutely not; I refuse to take any responsibility for your current behavior.

Just like you refuse to take responsibility for your own?

I always take responsibility for my behavior.
