Here's a little photojournal of my AT experience so far. As far as the trail goes I'm in Bland, Virginia. About 570 miles down (a little over 25% of the way done). If you're wondering why I'm posting it's because I'm at my parents right now. I had to come home for a dentist appointment and thought I'd take the time to share a few of the things

this really doesn't have much to do with your post, but i wanted to leave a comment to say that 1) your photography is absolutely gorgeous. it makes me want to pick up a camera and go walking through the forest. and 2) you have the most intense color eyes! i want to drown in them. haha. anyway. yeah... ahem.

i found your site via shigella's journal. if you'd add me, i'd quietly lurk and watch the pretty pictures..(i haven't seen a millipede that big since the last time i was in south carolina!) i do have a love for trees...and these photos are the perfect fix!

What trail are you hiking in these pics?

I'm currently hiking the 46 high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains in New York State. Is this the Appalachian trail?
