Yeah, I keep thinking I should get one of those compressed-air things. It'd be good for cleaning my keyboard AND freaking out my cat.

All the French I know, I learned from Eddie Izzard :)

Were you at Mayfair? If so, I will yell at my friend who is a concierge there. You don't have any way of knowing you're supposed to check in, so it's OUR job to know what people have and haven't been spoken to in the store and find out if people are here for apponitments. Of course, now that we all wear the same color shirt there's no real way for any customers to know who to check in with. ANYWAY, I'm sorry no one checked you in but glad your genius bar interaction was positive.

No, I was at Bayshore. I've usually had really good results with the Apple Store and they're a great resource. But yeah, it seems like it would be hard to tell if someone had been spoken to or not. Eventually someone did ask if I was there for an appointment but that was fifteen minutes after my appointment was supposed to be.

The Apple Store at Mayfair is one of my favorite places because it's the only place in the mall in December that isn't playing constant Christmas music. It's my oasis. I can go there and check my email and breathe for a little bit.

Do you work there?

No, I work at the store in Madison. But a number of my co-workers were at Mayfair before the Madison store opened, and one of my former co-workers went to Mayfair when she went off to college in Milwaukee. I also have a former co-worker who now works at Bayshore. I haven't actually ever been to either Milwaukee store.
