*Charlie groaned as he came awake with the biggest headache.  Ugh, what did he drink last night? And why couldn't they for once have a party that was uneventful, meaning no drama?  And why was his broken finger throbbing like hell this morning

Charlotte has been out for an early morning swim, and is heading back to camp when she sees Charlie come out on his porch, looking like hell. She frowns, and changes her direction towards him. She stops on the grass a few feet from his porch.

Rough night?

*Charlie looks up and smiles. He had seen you at the party and at Hurley's game night, but didn't get the chance to say hello.*

Yeah. I'm afraid that I drank too much. Parties here seem to always end badly, it seems. Plus my broken finger and the heat is keeping me away from my guitar.

I'm Charlie, by the way.

"It is terribly warm, isn't it? I just went down for a swim and I think I'm dried up and burning already."

She dried her hair with her towel again, and smiled at him.

"I'm Charlotte. You're British too. Where are you from? I can't quite place your accent."

*Chuckles*

And our names are similar. Charlie, Charlotte. I'm from Manchester, born raised. Which part of England are you from?

*He's always happy to meet more Brits in this place. The more the merrier*

"I was raised in Worchestershire. Bromsgrove. My years at Oxford influenced my accent, though."

She smiles at him, taking a seat on the step beside him.

"You're dating the Australian girl? Claire? And her baby, is it yours? Sorry if I'm nosy."

She isn't really, though. She can't help if she's curious.

Yeah, I'm dating Claire, well rather engaged to Claire...if only we could find a priest.

*laughs*

No, it's not mine, even though I love it as if it were. Aaron...he was such a beautiful baby and as sweet as his mum...
