I've been in a generally lousy mood, on and off but mostly on, for a week or two now. That sort of ultra-blah that whitewashes everything with ambivalence, leaving me feeling soulless in a Pablo Neruda sort of way. I couldn't, and still can't, put my finger on why. It happens. Sometimes I escape more readily than others

I would love to hang out sometime - honestly, preferably closer to one-on-one-ish than party-where-I-know-almost-nobody-ish. I would be game for Karaoke sometime, or lunch/dinner/coffee/caramels/etc. Tonight, though, I have a date with a will-call list. Almost any day for lunch works (at pretty much any time during the workday), Mondays and Wednesdays seem to be good for dinner at the moment.

I could do dinner on Monday sometime, since James has painting night and I don't, or lunch after 2 pretty much any day, as long as I can have enough notice to arrange to have the car (or not, if you want to come all the way up here).

Aha! Trick question. The correct answer is C. Safeway Select Grape Soda ("As soothing as petting a wet sheep!").

With the elimination of C, though, I'd go with the ginger ale. I mostly only like GOOD root beer, like Henry Weinhard's with a shot of Bailey's. Mmmm.
