Can your dad be your best man? Either that, or I think it would be fine to have a female "best man" (or similar gender-appropriate title). I've known a few women - including my sister - that have stood up for guys at their weddings.

i'd totally be your best lady.

i have a few good girlfriends, but i didn't have a maid of honor. just attendants. and i know a girl who's "maid of honor" was her brother... he was her "best guy" because they're so super close. it can be done.

and yeah, keep me around. i want to read.
