OH MY GOD!
I didn't know about that second meaning of 'neko'...though it certainly explains some yaoi-manga characteristics (not that I'm reading any XDD)
I love things like that XD
This is probably only funny for westerners, because we haev this strange sense of humor...XD BUt certainly, it makes learning easier.

The last part was just low level English of the students resulting in an interesting choice of words to explain the meaning too.
But the first one is just him saying "I want to become a cat", but I read the second translation of the word first and had my little "wtf?!" moment x"D
