My mom was unusually calm when my little brother did this with a dried kidney bean. Afterwards she explained that she had managed to do it with a bumble bee as a kid, which stung her and made her nose swell up something awful. She figured a mere bean was nothing, even if it meant a trip to the pediatrician's, and ultimately the ER.

Jack's lucky. A little irrigation will soften that sucker and solve the problem. Sam'll probably do that herself. Jack will totally deflect her irritation by telling her about the time he tried to impress and gross out Mary Jane Olson in his nursery school class by sticking the Tootsie Rolls in his nose, and how badly it backfired...

LOL. hehe. :D I've had my head stuck in a chair and between stair rails, but I don't think I've been one to stick objects up my nose as a kid. And a BEE, of all things? Yeeeeouch!
