Jack rubbed his aching right knee. Not, mind you, that his left one was any happier with him. They were both sore but Jack was just grateful that they had done what he had asked of them and gotten him home and through the gate with Daniel's gasping form draped over his shoulders in a graceless fireman's carry.

He looked down at Daniel, still sedated, intubated, and filled to the gills with epinephrine and antihistamines. Doc had said he should start surfacing any within the hour. Sadly, Jack shook his head.

"You should have told them you were allergic, Daniel."
