For 2 out of 2 pregnancies, right up to the day of delivery I was the BarfQueen (as in they actually hospitalized me for it a few times!), although I got the first 6 weeks for free, so I really feel for Jack here. And yeah, this (and the anxiety) is exactly the type of weakness he'd have the most trouble with. It's one thing to hobble around looking like a wounded warrior with crutches, quite another to be doubled over, helpless and disgusting. It's not dignified, and Jack is all about preserving that dignity!

Yeah, throwing up is NOT fun. A few years ago I had kidney stones, and along with it was suffering dehydration and throwing up all the time. It was horrible. Yech. *cuddles poor Jack* :)
