Since I'm working from home today I've been sitting at my desk all morning. It has finally dawned on me why I can see the neighbor's house across the street so much better and why there's no squirrels running back and forth along the false wall. Um, MORE trees are gone now? Were they damaged, or damaging the house? Will i recognize the place?

You'll recognize it. The tree by the mailbox is still there. It's the ivy-covered one that was threatening to fall on the (other) neighbor's house that is no more. We got it before it fell, yay. Oh, and the ass-end of the stump is gone. Those neighbors must be thrilled not to have to look at it.

So yeah, improvements.

Who did you work with to get the trees removed, and do you know if they work in Maryland too?

They might, but I'm not sure about proper ahem licensing These guys were way cheaper than the people who hauled away the monstrosity last year who we liked too, but were much pricier.
