The floors look wonderful - and I can't say I blame you for looking forward to work! I also can understand the dislike of the chaos; that really gets uncomfortable doesn't it?
Once we get the rest of the rooms done most of the furniture will be redistributed back where it belongs. Getting enough clear space to work in has been slightly difficult, but is pretty much what we expected. (We briefly considered having a moving company come in and store the larger pieces - sofas, etc. - while you were away, but changed our minds on that)
The family room should be finished today, as well as most of the main floor hallway. The dining room will get done tomorrow, along with part of the entry way. Thursday my helper has a doctor's appointment in Baltimore so I'll be working solo and I hope to either get the stairs done or your office area completed. From there it's on to the front room then final finishing and trim.
With luck (and as long as my knees hold out) everything should be completed by Monday or Tuesday next week.
