It looks like I'm supposed to chaperone this dance coming up. I guess it makes sense since I'm a teacher at the school now. So who else is chaperoning this thing? I haven't really gotten to know many people at the school yet, so it'd be nice to get a heads up of who to expect there.

It's basically just a party where people get together to dance and hang out.

Well, if you're chaperonin', could y'just... Well, I'm part of the band playin' at the dance, so I'd appreciate it if y'could... Just make sure nobody throws stuff like bottles or somethin'. Y'know, glass, metal... Stuff like that.

It's someone who supervises events to make sure no one causes any trouble.

Oh, I heard about that "dance" thing! I dunno who else will be there, but I hope this place doesn't do something to ruin it. It...it kinda sounds like fun and people here need more of that, I think.
